Integrative Psychiatry Consultation
Holistic psychiatric consultation, usually performed during the course of 3 to 4 sessions, during which I strive to understand the root causes of your condition. As a physician I will take careful consideration of your symptoms, may they be physical, psychological or spiritual.
This consultation process may include laboratory testing as well as communication with other health care providers with whom you might be already engaged in treatment.
Specific recommendations regarding findings will be provided during the course of the consultation process. These may include traditional and complimentary interventions such as life style modifications, psychotherapy, nutritional psychiatry interventions, medications, supplements, and referral to other practitioners when appropriate.
This consultation process may lead to a longer term engagement according to the treatment recommendations.

Psychotherapy
The initial consultation with the intent to start psychotherapy consists of 2 one hour visits, during which you will share with me what has brought you to seek help and I will gather an integrative psychiatric history. At the end of this process I will provide you with my appreciation of your situation and my recommendations.

Ongoing Psychotherapy: Duration and frequency may vary depending on the nature of your problems and your individual needs.

Notes:
~ Payment is expected at the time of service in either cash or check.
~ I am not in network for any insurance carriers. Sometimes people are able to ask for reimbursement; if you think you might want to do this, I suggest you contact your insurance carrier and ask what your deductible is and what percentage, if any, they will be able to reimburse you once you have reached your deductible. I will provide you with a receipt at the end of each month which you could use for this purpose.

~ I have opted out of Medicare, which means you won't be able to ask for reimbursement if you choose to see me.
